For Contractors

Looking for a Waterproofing Contractor for Builders Who Actually Delivers?

If you’ve been burned by a waterproofing sub who did half the job and left the coordination to you, we understand. That’s the norm in this industry. It’s not how we work.

SBW is based in Hendersonville. We’ve been waterproofing foundations for builders and GCs across Western NC, upstate SC, east Tennessee, and north Georgia for close to a decade. Rafael oversees every job personally. The same crew shows up every time. We handle the full scope and we don’t disappear after the membrane goes on.

What You Get When You Hire SBW

Full Scope, One Sub

Most waterproofing subs handle one phase. That means you’re coordinating excavation with one contractor, the membrane with another, drainage with a third, and grading with a fourth. We don’t work that way.

One crew handles the complete job: excavation, wall prep, crack repair, Rub-R-Wall membrane, insulation protection, drainage, backfill, and final grading. You approve the scope. We execute. Done.

Why that matters for the warranty

The Same Crew Every Time

Contractors tell us this matters more than they expected. You know who’s showing up. The crew that did your last job will be on your next one. No learning curve. No strangers on your site.

Communication That Works

When you’re running a schedule, delays cascade. We show up when we say we will. We keep you informed. If something comes up on-site, we flag it early so you can plan around it. We leave the site cleaner than we found it.

Insurance Ready

General liability and workers’ compensation certificates on every job, every time. You need them before work starts, and we have them ready. No chasing paperwork.

No Callbacks

In close to ten years of work, SBW has had one warranty claim. It was caused by a separate contractor who damaged the membrane during later work on the property. The waterproofing itself held up.

That’s the track record you’re hiring.

How It Works

1

Inquiry and Site Visit

Call or submit the contractor inquiry form below. We’ll schedule a site visit, assess the foundation, confirm the scope, and answer your questions.

2

Written Proposal

You get an itemized written proposal spelling out exactly what’s included and what it costs. No buried line items. No surprises.

3

Agreement and Insurance

Send us your contractor agreement or standard terms. We review and sign. Insurance certificates come with it.

4

The Work

Most projects begin within two weeks of approval. Residential jobs take two to five days depending on wall condition and drainage scope.

5

Documentation

For residential work, warranty documentation goes directly to the homeowner. The warranty is tied to the address, so it transfers automatically if the home is sold.

New Construction

If you’re bringing us in on a new build, the foundation is already exposed.

No excavation cost, no backfill on our end. We waterproof the wall, install drainage if it’s in the scope, and you backfill after we’re done. The job moves faster and your timeline stays on track.
